Police Community Support Officer
Current• Proactively engage and develop close working ties within the community.• Produced and provided comprehensive and detailed intel reports for crime prevention. • Develop close working relationships with key groups and agencies, such as local authorities, housing associations, Transport for London, and schools, to identify and resolve local issues.• Supporting individuals with mental health and vulnerability issues by providing them with the appropriate methods of support and ensure all correct measurements are met, in regard to their safety and wellbeing.• Communicate with the appropriate agencies to provide support and shelter for the homeless.• Take first accounts and details from victims of crime and witnesses to form crime reports. • Build rapport, trust, and confidence with stakeholders, and local business, providing advice and guidance in support of their needs.• Develop comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the local community in which they operate to identify and effectively offer them support.• Take witness and victim statements and ensure all information gathered is accurate for evidential purposes in support of a case.• Attend emergency situations when required.• Working part of a team and carrying out external patrols with Police constables daily.• Involved in operations at sporting and music events to ensure safety of the travelling public.• Hosted event stands, to provide public support information and career opportunity advice.
