Experience in all aspects of dealership operations including financing, buying inventory, wholesale, advertising, human resources, P&L, accounting, sales, service, maintenance, customer service and warranty administration. First experience in the car business was around 1987-88 with Mundy's Auto Sales (a buy here pay here) as a salesman in Columbus Ga with my brother who was the general manager at the time. Then around 1990 started working at Credit Auto Sales ( Motors Acceptance Corp mother company) as a sales person. Around 1992-93 was promoted to general manager of our 2nd location located in Columbus Ga. In 1996 we had a location in Montgomery Al which needed a manager and Motors Acceptance gave me the opportunity to go take over this store and after a couple years they made me a partner. I was the only location that approved 100% of their deals, bought my own inventory and had the lowest repossession rate of all the locations. The entire time that I was in Montgomery Al as the general manager my location out sold, out grossed all the other locations we had in our network yearly which at one point we had around 10+ locations. In 2008 my brother passed away unexpectedly and I was offered his position at the corporate location Motors Acceptance Corp. While this was a low point of my life, it allowed my wife and I to go back to our home town to family and friends. Our company had a credit line with Wells Fargo and somewhere around the 2014-2015ish time period they decided they were going to cut out their subprime lending, dealers credit line and that along forced us to liquidate our lots and build up our Title Pawn Rescue department. Since 2017 I have approve all our title loan buyouts deals and help run the corporate Motor Acceptance Corp in Columbus Ga.
