Installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and coordinates the use and proper operation of servers, storage environments, and network operating systems (i.e., Windows Server 2008/2012, Linux). Evaluates hardware, software and peripheral equipment. Maintains user accounts or security policies across the domain. Maintains and updates system security plans on all server platforms. Implements, documents, and coordinates server and storage policies, procedures, and standards. Enforces security procedures. Maintains enterprise information technology services (e.g., FAX Servers, Messaging Systems, Databases,, Document Management, Virtualization software/settings). Oversees system and data security. Assigns passwords and monitors use of resources. Desktop support for Desktop Hardware and Software issues to include installation of network printers and software, workstation configuration, network connectivity problem resolution and Issue troubleshooting. Administer account access for various systems used within the company. Record and resolve or escalate incoming support requests. Proactively suggest improvements to reduce incoming service requests. Provide quality customer satisfaction, technical expertise, accuracy and timeliness * Develop and deploy computer images for laptop and desktop systems. Facilitate communication upward and across the team including status, variance and technical information. Manage some projects in addition to Service Desk responsibilities. Work with various companies, implementing, upgrading and maintaining their servers, workstations and network infrastructure. Projects included complete company moves, cabling and setup and install of MS Windows Technologies including but limited to all versions of Exchange server, Windows server, Windows desktop OS, Linux servers, Anti-Virus solutions including Network Associates, Symantec and ClamAV. Setup and configured Windows NT4/2003 domains, Windows Active Directory. Setup and configured various routers and firewalls, include Cisco, Netscreen, Juniper and Fortinet firewalls and Cisco and Adtran routers. Setup and configured Cisco and DLink switches Setup and configured Web/Spam filter solutions including Barracuda, Surf Control, Mailsweeper, IPrism and Linux based Open Source solutions. Install, configured and maintained VMWare 2.5 and 3.0. Installed, configured and maintained Citrix Access Suite 4.0 products including Presentation Server 4.0, Web Interface 4.1, Password Manager 4.0, Access Gateway 4.2 appliance with Access Controls. Installed and configured Backup Solutions including ArcServer and Vertias Backup Exec.

I am responsible for maintaining a 160 user Windows NT4 Domain, Windows NT 4.0/2000 Servers, MS Exchange 5.5, Linux servers for Network Monitoring (NTOP, Nagios, NMIS and MRTG), Cisco PIX Firewall, Cisco 3640 Router, Cisco 6509, 3750 and 3548XL Switches and Cisco VPN 3005 concentrator. I maintain 3 VMWare Server with 3 virtual Windows 2000 Servers install on each physical server. Install on these virtual servers are Citrix MetaFrame XPe with Feature Release 3 load balancing 160 concurrent connections used worldwide. I also assist with the operation and creation of devices on the AS/400 Model I5. I also maintain all the hardware (AS/400 and, PC) and PC software for the Corporate Office.

I am responsible for maintaining a 100 user Novell 3.12 Network, NetWare for SAA Gateway, Tandem K-100 TIPS Imaging Server and various telephone systems. I also assist with system operations on two AS/400's, Model 310 and Model 200. I am responsible for Telecommunications at the Corporate Office and all 11 Terminals and for Data Communications to all 11 Terminals for AS/400 and 7 WAN Connection via either ISDN or Fractal T-1 connections. I am responsible for all local and remote printing from Novell Servers, AS/400 and Tandem System. I also maintain all hardware (AS/400, PC and Tandem) and software (PC and Tandem) for all terminals and the Corporate Office.
