Lead a team of cooks to complete service. Do the prep work to keep the kitchen stocked. Expedite orders. Check in deliveries and watch inventory to make sure the restaurant has the supplies necessary for business. Some customer interaction. Quality control of items.

Initially hired as a cook. My job responsibilities were preparing food to order, stock and prep items as needed. Promoted to shift manager. Job responsibilities included customer sales, helping throughout entire restaurant, leading a team of employees, and customer relations. I developed many long term relationships with customers many of whom come to see me at my current job. I also had to handle customer complaints or problems. From this position I was promoted to Assistant Manager. My job responsibilities here included all of the above tasks as well as doing bookwork, scheduling employees, hiring and dismissing employees, maintenance of equipment, inventory and placing orders. My responsibilities in customer relations also grew to not only handling problems while on duty but also having to research and solve ones occurring when I was off.

I was hired to train users on a new marketing program that had just been installed. I had the responsibility if debugging and adding to this program as needed. This program was written in Paradox, a data base language that I was not familiar with. I had to spend the first few days reading the manuals and learning the language to be able to perform these duties. I had to make presentations to our employees to sell them on using this program and it's many features.

Hired as a sacker. Customer service was my primary responsibility. Was promoted to the bakery/deli where I handled customer sales as well as cooked and prepared a limited number of items.
