Product Line Manager for Viavi automotive products in the Optical and Security Products (OSP) division of Viavi. Responsibilities include managing the marketing and commercial activities for LiDAR, 3D sensing, imaging and other optical products and programs related to the automotive market.

Led the development and promotion of NSC’s business to business products and services including an affinity program expected to contribute over $750,000 in retained earnings to NSC. NSC ceased to operate in July 2003.

Sales executive to telecommunications companies including SBC, Verizon, AT&T, MCI, Sprint, Qwest, and Cox. Demonstrated the ability to quickly establish and develop multiple, new customer relationships to position Westwave, a venture backed, development stage, telecommunications software company.

Recruited into sales as Account Director. Quickly promoted to Senior Director and managed the sales activities and account team for the McLeodUSA account. Developed executive level influence to position Alcatel’s complete line of products and services.• Aggressively grew the account revenue to become an Alcatel USA top-ten account in 2000. • Revenue was 200% over 1999, on pace for $60M in 2000. Exceeded quotas by 80%. Managed the interface to maintain and ensure coordination between the customer’s expectations and Alcatel’s ability to deliver resulting in a smooth relationship.

Started in Program Management, managing new hardware and software releases from development through general availability. Transitioned to Marketing Manager and operated as a primary interface between sales and the business division on all issues in market channel.

Extensively interfaced with end customers in support of sales, marketing and new product development.• Managed and supervised the development and successful launch of a 100GHz DWDM telecom component team that exceeded goals for cost, yield, volume and quality. Production launch consisted of 3 fully staffed sputter coating machines.• Created and managed the dichroic team that penetrated the display market for projection TV and video projectors. Delivered new capability at one-third the previous cost and one-third the cycle-time. Worked closely with domestic and Asian OEMs to position and negotiate business. Expanded from 1 prototype coating machine to 3 full sized sputtering machines and accompanying support. Ramped production to 40,000 filters per month. Scope included process, equipment and organizational development.• Championed and managed the development and production program for moving BBR Solar Products to sputtering, resulting in a 67% cost reduction. Assignments include process research, coating design, machine and tooling design, scaling production processes, material characterization, application engineering, and quality engineering. • Developed process improvements for e-beam, IAD evaporation, DC magnetron sputtering, glow discharge, electron sources, RF sources, thermal evaporation, plasma polymerization, and hydrophobic coating deposition technologies.
