Accountable for operational delivery of the cranes and transport fleet across the East Pilbara mines, including working with site departments, to ensure maximum fleet utilisation.

Accountable for the implementation and monitoring of the cranes and transport fleet across the Pilbara mines, including working with Cranes & Transport Execution teams and site departments, to ensure the correct work is planned to maximise the fleet and reduce hire costs.

In the role of Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent I was responsible for the Supervision of maintenance activities within our 2 satellite mines (Eastern Range and Channar) and the Processing Plant in Paraburdoo. The main areas of responsibility include; leading of Maintenance teams to ensure plant availability targets are achieved whilst still maintaining a safety culture of Zero harm.Managing a team of 105 with varying trades from Fitters, Boliermakers, Electrician's, Lube Techs and Beltman.

Ensure the reliability of our fixed plant assets, which also involves the coaching and mentoring of new team members the importance of Riotinto Work Management Process. Working with both maintenance and production departments, and ultimately ensuring the correct work is planned, reliability of the plant and that the costs targets are met.

Managing and co-ordinating contractor teams for specific tasks (Contractor Management).Organising and planning multiple jobs with multiple work centres on single pieces of equipment.Track the progress of key tasks and making adjustments to ensure shuts come in on time in a cost effective and safe manner.Co-ordinate pre-shut meetings with operations and maintenance personnel, feedback meetings during the shut, and post-shut review.Maintenance Planning & Scheduling all Tasks required for the shutdown through SAP & MS Project.Proficient in using SAP PM Module.Relief Senior Maintenance Planner – This has given me the opportunity to develop my leadership and communication skills in a management role.
