Responsible for managing post staff and freelancers in regards to the day to day operations of editorial/post production to increase revenues, profitability and customer satisfaction / relations. Establish and adjust operating procedures for effective communication and workflow among editors and artists. Manage usage of equipment and resources to maximize editorial session efficiency, including edit systems, media storage, video tape library and machine room equipment.Develops professional competence of staff, both technical and managerial, and seek ways to motivate employees and improve morale. Ensure employees stay current on procedures and training.Creative editorial, compositing, graphics and effects. Use knowledge and skills to effectively create content that speaks to clients goals. Work closely with production, graphic artist and post audio departments to ensure top notch project management. Develop creative concepts while working closely with advertising agencies, broadcast network producers, directors, writers and producers as well as colleagues and clients.Evaluate creative to ensure highest level of workmanship is achieved. Worked on commercials, promos and web videos for a span of clients including; NFL on CBS, NHL-Carolina Hurricanes, WakeMed, UNC Athletics, UNC Rams Club, North Carolina Educational Lottery, Georgia-Pacific, Kioti, Travelocity, Piedmont Natural Gas, Polaris, Fool Lion, Sterns & Foster, UNC Cancer Care, FIAT, Nationwide, Quest, Coldwell Banker, Lenovo, and Sony.Worked on hit TV shows such as Jon & Kate plus 8 (TLC), Future Cars (4 part series for Discovery), 19 Kids and Counting (TLC), Salvage Dawgs (DIY/HGTV) and Sister Wives (TLC).

Offline and Online editorial, compositing and VFX for all internal clients including HBO, Disney Channel, and Fox. Work closely with art directors, graphic designers, composers, producers, and writers to create on air promotions and marketing material.

Started my career in South Florida as a Traffic manager for the largest post house in the South East (Broadcast Video at the time). Moved up to Assistant editor, Jr. Editor & Editor. Clients included Nickelodeon Latin America, MTV Latin America, DirecTV Latin America, TNT, Ford, Toyota, Miami Heat, and Florida Marlins.

Began to cut in Avid. Assisted in the broadcast department under the supervision of the senior editor. Digitized / logged footage. Created reels for pitches/demos of directors-used to present to the creative team for upcoming campaigns.
