I started as a Belt Grind/Hand Grinder and got certified to work in Inspection including Visual, Dimensional, Target, CMM, and Layout. Moved from Inspection to Engineering and now presently Production Supervisor II. As a Production Supervisor II I am responsible for the Backend Production Team including Rework, NDT Inspection and Rough Machining. Supervisory responsibilities for teams of 30-70 employees. Accountability for results in terms of Daily Throughput, Product Quality, Safety, Training, Employee Evaluations and Hiring. Responsible for identifying and implementing cost saving ideas for Continuous Improvement goal of 2% per quarter. Interface with senior management, sales, engineering and customers to ensure customer and PCC requirements of cost, quality and delivery are met. .SKILLSMicrosoft Office & Professional applications, SPC, Blueprint Reading, Lean Manufacturing and 6S as well as Visual Manufacturing software.
