In 2019 Magic City Hustle, a documentary film, directed by Billy Corben, debuted at the Miami International Film Festival and garnered the award for outstanding documentary. The film chronicles the lives of former University of Miami athletes taking on the world’s fastest ball sport, Jai-Alai. Most of the players work two or even three jobs as they strive for a second shot at glory and for financial viability for themselves and their families. Magic City Casino has teamed up with Argentinian casino company Ondiss to renovate and reopen the former Dania Jai-Alai Fronton. The Casino @ Dania Beach features 880 Las Vegas style slot machines including electronic blackjack, roulette, and craps. Our 21 table poker room is state-of-the-art with an adjacent sports lounge.
