As a Paediatric Emergency Physician, Schofield has experience in multiple Australian and Canadian tertiary Paediatric Emergency Departments as well as Paediatric Aeromedical Retrieval.Scott has a passion for clinical improvement with experiences including the implementation of Paediatric Sepsis care bundles in NSW and Qld, improvement of Emergency Senior Medical Officer Performance and Development review processes and is the current Emergency Department Lead for Quality and Innovation at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.Since completing the Healthcare Improvement Fellowship, Scott is collaborating with Queensland University of Technology Design Lab as a part of Health Excellence Accelerator Lab (HEAL) and Sunshine Coast University Centre for Human Factors and Sociotechnical Systems on multiple innovative research projects bringing contemporary, forward thinking concepts into frontline healthcare.
