    Responsible for the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) at the FCA NAFTA Kokomo Casting Plant (KCP). With the plant staff, it is my job to create and implement strategic business initiaitves to enhance the financial position of the plant, prepare the plant for bi-annual Internal WCM audits, drive and support the cultural change required within the plant to ensure successful implementation of WCM, establish a cross-functional team of highly qualified people to follow WCM methodology to create new operating standards, develop the team by teaching and coaching them in technical aspects of the pillar. With the pillar team, I lead all activities neccessary to ensure successful implementation of their pillar methodology within their model areas, ensure successful integration of other pillar methodologies within the model and expansion areas, lead activity board and kaizen reviews on the shop floor. I also have the responsibility for supporting the production Businees Unit Leaders in attaining KPI goals, and preparing many, many PowerPoint presentations for Operations Reviews, Plant Manager WCM Presentations, Powertrain leadership, plant communication, etc. I also work with Powertrain Division leadership on strategic business initiatives from Senior leadership (SMM), lead and implement the WPI process on 845RE and 948TE launch areas, travel to locations in Chrysler and Fiat, both NAFTA and EMEA, to gain insight and prespective for WCM implementation. In this position I have 3 direct reports, 1 management and 2 hourly.

Facilitate communication between departments, lines, and internal suppliers (external to respective business unit, internal to plant infrastructure). Obtain outside resources and information when technical challenges exceed capability of the business unit leadership team. Handle daily disciplinary issues within work team as necessary. In this position I had 19 direct reports, 1 supervisor and 18 hourly. Also, during this time period I was co-lead for the WO pillar. I achieved the score of 1 for the WO pillar in the second WCM audit at KCP.
