I led a team of 36 professional communicators at the Bonneville Power Administration with expertise in the areas of communications strategy and counsel, media relations, issues management, employee communications and graphics, consumer marketing, policy writing and public engagement. Working with my team, we completely revamped and restructured the department into an internal “agency” with my vision that led to better client service, award-winning work, and happier employees. Our goals were to: 1) provide proper data and analyses in a timely manner to the internal and external organizations we support and 2) to be actively engaged in resource planning forums involving federal and regional generating resources so that we could continue to provide quality work that accurately projects the always-changing Northwest energy landscape.
