The Horse, Dog, and Jai-Alai tracks and gambling facilities in the U.S., Canada , and Peru.• Interfaced with customers about reports and various data displays for their particular systems and needs using our Tote product. Customizations to fit specific data displays would be made. Report adjustments for the way they would do accounting for their track. Additional features would be added and incorporated into the top product for future distribution.• Kept CMS/CVS software up to date by putting changes back into top level product.• Provided emergency customer support to correct problems and maintained a 24/7 online software system alerts. Software Engineer• Wrote specifications and documents for fitting the LIMS (Laboratory Information System) product at the laboratory site with cost and time estimates for approval by customer.• Implement those changes according to document and fit the product to the laboratory environment at the site. Work also needed to be done at the site, so interfaces to the serial lab instruments could be done, in order to load tests to a central database for the sample being tested.• The LIMS system and tools could be made to fit any laboratory environment that existed.• Interfaced directly to the customer before, during, and after the implementation of the product in their laboratory and was available for questioning and fixes/updates if needed later on.• Involved in creating customized training materials for lab people on using the product.
