Process Operator
Current• Intermediate Level 1 Operator, with the ability to work in 5 areas, Control Board, Distillation, Fermentation, Laboratory, and Shipping• Performs start up, shutdown, and makes equipment or production adjustments to maintain operational performance• Effective communication skills that assist with shift turn over, coordinating other team members work duties, and operating a continuous operating plant• Operate and trouble shoot various pieces of industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, hammer mills, centrifuges, distillation columns, cooling towers, evaporators and heat exchangers. • Sample various product streams to ensure quality production and efficient operating.• Adhere to numerous safety and environmental procedures, and assist with safe equipment lock out, tag out. • Use Maximo for entering work order requests, and use Java Applications to enter data to a Qlikview Database• Certified member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee• Very conscientious worker, who follows written procedures well, and shows interest in environmental issues, health and safety, quality, and ISO management systems
