About Scott Springer
I am a leadership educator, associate professor, and business communicator. I teach courses at Brigham Young University-Hawaii in leadership, management, business communication, and talent acquisition. I strive to make my courses as applicable and experiential as possible to help my students develop into effective global leaders and effective business communicators. My research interests include leadership communication, the experiences of first-time managers, sports and leadership, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and case research.In addition to my service as a university professor, I also serve as a co-vice president of the Western U.S. Region of the Association for Business Communication, an international, interdisciplinary organization committed to advancing business communication research, education, and practice.
