Supervised and mentored a division of 180 Navy and civilian personnel in the accomplishment of all command mission goals. Provided direction and oversight to eight work centers during 114 submarine maintenance availabilities, encompassing over 2,500 jobs and 77,000 man-hours ensuring all based submarines were in top material conditions in order to meet all mission critical deployments. Responsible for the repair, installation, testing, and alignment of general electronic equipment and associated antenna systems, all shipboard electrical and Interior Communication equipment, rubber and plastic fabrication, submarine noise reduction analysis and test and calibration of electronic test equipment. The repair, maintenance, modification, calibration, replacement and installation of shipboard type communications, cryptographic and teletype equipment and associated antennas. The repair and calibration, including in-place calibration, of all portable electrical meters and electronic test equipment submitted by tended activities and other local tenant activities. The repairs, alterations and adjustments to periscopes, navigational instruments and other optical equipment. The repair, maintenance, modification, and installation of fire control equipment. The repair, alignment, replacement, and installation of navigation and shipboard ESM equipment, associated antennas and masts, and the hydrostatic test of equipment as required. Provide forces afloat assistance to install, remove, overhaul, repair, alter, align and calibrate sonar systems and their associated equipment.

Supervised and trained 12 Ship Superintendents that manage maintenance availabilities, including emergent repair periods, emergent drydocking periods, writing the required messages for fly away teams to ensure all equipment and personnel are ready to depart on-time to support submarines in foreign ports. Manage the day to day operations of the Ship Superintendent's Office. Conducted meetings to include daily morning production, daily status, daily night work with the tended unit, and weekly senior management for 2 Commodores, 2 Commanding Officers, and numerous high ranking officers regarding the status of cost, man-hours, and job status including category of work. Continue to evaluate all meetings for continued process improvement. Coordinated with 12 General Foreman to develop and plan a work sequencing schedule for maintenance periods by utilizing Microsoft Office to include all work requests provided by the Maintenance Broker. Coordinated pier services such as cranes, pure water and waste water trucks, lube oil and fuel oil loads, outside activity equipment and Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs), chill and freeze boxes, fork lifts, delivery of parts and food, ship's special testing, quality assurance forms including the ship’s QA Certification Letter, and anything that is required for the ship to meet it’s underway commitment.
