The realities of a not-even-close golf handicap and musical mediocrity set in, with the subsequent resounding lesson of “nobody is perfect” thus shaping the course of my career. Years later, this lesson remains vital to my success and career growth as a cross-functional organizational leader.Developing my roots in small business has allowed me to wear many hats in my career, with a refined appreciation for boots on the ground approach leadership. My drive for success has allowed me to take the excitement and discipline required to survive in small business and apply it to larger organizations to refine processes, transform company culture, and scope out challenges of any size while leading teams to victory.My value to an organization ultimately derives from my acceptance of a few personal truths:- The victory is always more important than the credit.- Ideas are only as great as the ability to execute them, and I transition ideas to execution.- Putting out fires is awesome, but preventing them is better.
