Serves as a senior Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist with responsibility for the execution of all public affairs activities on White Sands Missile Range. Direct the planning and coordination of the public affairs program for this installation. Provides advice and counsel on public affairs matters to the Commanding General, The Executive Director (SES), members of the command group, the Garrison Commander and staff, and the White Sands Test Center Commander and staff. Coordinates public affairs activities with Installation Management Command, Army Test and Evaluation Command, and the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs.Accomplishments include conducting the annual Trinity Site Open House on a remote location on the range, where an average of 3,500 visitors from across the United States and numerous foreign countries tour the site of the first atomic detonation. The open house provides visitors with the opportunity to visit ground zero (site of the detonation) and the McDonald Ranch house (where the plutonium core was assembled). Responsible for facilitating an average of 30 journalist per open house. The Trinity Site Open House is a challenging mission due to the remoteness of the location that requires all forms of support to be brought to the site in an efficient and effective manner, to include water, food, electricity, transportation and, etc. Accomplishments include providing media facilitation and public affairs support to the annual Bataan Memorial Death March held each spring at White Sands Missile Range. This event brings an average of 10,000 participates and spectators to the installation, to include an average of 40 journalist. This event gains national level exposure and is an installation-wide effort. The public affairs office will facilitate media, take photos, and write articles while also providing personnel to the Emergency Operations Center.

United States Army civil servant, serves as a Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist for the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk, with the responsibility for the development, execution and evaluation of public affairs and strategic communication activities for this organization.Selected Accomplishments: Assists the installation Public Affairs Officer (PAO) with the management, direction and evaluation of all public affairs programs and activities associated with this installation.Prepares information and decision briefings, memoranda, and correspondence in support of the public affairs office requirements.Responsible for responding to requests for information from the news media and general public about matters in written and oral form, often requiring detailed explanations of negative comments regarding Army activities.Planned, coordinated and conducted numerous events within Louisiana, to include an inaugural Military Appreciation Football Game at McNeese State University, the grand-opening ceremonies at the Alexandria International Airport Military Welcome Center & the Veterans Administration Community Based Out-patient Clinic in Leesville, LA. Planned, coordinated and conducted a highly successful tour of Lake Charles by Army officials and a tour of Fort Polk by members of the Southwestern Louisiana state legislative delegation.
