Howdy! I'm glad you're here. Despite making a great living in my first career as an aerospace engineer, I didn't see the need for my family to work with a financial advisor. We didn't have a lot of money and I thought seeing a financial advisor was the same as just seeing a stock broker. Fast forward to my next career as a pastor and I realized, after we met with a financial advisor, that planning for retirement and other financial goals is easily accessible and necessary even though I still thought that we didn't have a lot of money.Since then I've been a client of Edward Jones, so I got a firsthand look at what an advisor is from the "other side" of the table. I find most people ignore their finances until a big time of transition.Examples:👍 Job changes (probably the most common...I can help you explore your options for your old employer retirement savings plan)👍 Lifestyle changes (happy things like marriages and babies...and not so happy things, like divorce or inheritance due to a death in the family)👍...Or maybe you already have a financial advisor (maybe they were your parents' or grandparent's guy/girl, but you're not vibing...)There are more, but those are the most common.There is no cookie cutter plan for everyone. We'll even adapt and change when life throws you curve balls. When I’m not working, you can find me and my bride Karen transporting our three boys, ages 10-15, to various activities. We have two boxer dogs, who think they are people, that also keep us busy. When we're not chauffeuring our children you can find us at church, watching sports, playing board games, or enjoying a good streaming series that someone suggested we watch.
