For this role, I shifted from leadership of the Digital Life portfolio into a new executive role, bringing a group of high-performance engineers into a new initiative focused on developing elevated software for in-home network installation and maintenance. I led the development and scaling of an innovative platform to an enable new functionality and an enhanced customer experience by allowing users to manage in-home system installation and optimizations from self-service dashboards. I also upgraded outdated and legacy systems to create a multi-functional application representative of current technology, maximizing ROI by prioritizing internal operations over previously outsourced, lesser quality services.I also mentored and managed a high-performance team of software engineers and front-end developers as part of the kick-off team for this initiative, gathering requirements, translating goals, and managing the workflow of the Agile process. Together, we drove an Agile CI/CD process to launch new features and progress software development, providing a robust infrastructure critical to accelerated feature development and release at minimal operating cost. I enabled real-time viewing and proactive diagnostics through embedded software and back-end systems that enabled in-home hardware to communicate remotely with AT&T customer controls and support centers.In 2021, I took on additional product management responsibilities. I continued to direct Agile development teams as described in the role above while assuming cross-vertical leadership of a product group focused on optimizing the customer-facing My AT&T Android and iOS mobile application. I oversaw product development initiatives to gain insight into marketing, positioning, road maps, and consumer-driven UI/UX strategies by taking on leadership of a five-person product team supporting customer-facing mobile apps.

I spearheaded the ideation and creation of remote access and home-monitoring products, which became AT&T’s flagship software and marque product, generating $250M+ in annual revenue from half-million+ users.I created a new software product line to complement AT&T’s existing suite of telecommunications and hardware offerings, realizing an all-digital solution that generated positive cash flow within three years of launch. I owned all aspects of this independent start-up-like business unit, acting as the Chief Technology Officer of the initiative to build, scale, and operate a standalone SaaS software product driven by bulletproof security. I integrated over five million devices through a proprietary safety and security framework aligned with the compliance-related needs of the business while upholding strict anti-hacking and cybersecurity protocol. To do this, I utilized existing IT infrastructure and technology systems while maintaining an independent development cycle that met the requirements of the Chief Security Office for both hardware and software. I also built proprietary radio frequency protocol for communications between the controller and the security devices. I led change management initiatives associated with the sunsetting of the product line-up by strategizing the team’s re-organization, placing 80+ engineers across other internal teams before shifting into a new area of business leadership.
