Primary Duties:• Generate Part Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Part List of designs done by Mechanical Group Members• Responsible for the Configuration Requirements pertaining to generated documents• EPDM Vault administration• EPDM Vault maintenance• Vault Library maintenance• CAD Template maintenanceSecondary Duties:• Acquisition of mechanical components for the Mechanical Group Members• Liaison with sub-contractors• Integration of Mechanical Assemblies

 To obtain quotes, process Purchase Requisitions and supply Purchase Orders to suppliers with all correct and latest Configuration documentation along with all required authorization. To work closely with the project managers to ensure the projects stay within budget and to ensure sufficient funds are available. To source the correct material / manufactured parts and negotiate the best price. To ensure delivery of the materials within a specified timescale. To ensure good supplier relations and generate savings by doing regular quote comparisons. To liaise with the vendor and to return and monitor any incorrect parts. Working alongside the QC department to ensure the QA inspection plan is adhered to by the vendors and maintaining ISO 9001 requirements from vendors. To expedite existing orders daily to ensure vendors deliver orders on time. To source new vendors. To assist the QA department with the auditing of potential new vendors. To assist with problem solving between mechanical designers and vendors.

 Inspection of all incoming mechanical parts from sub-contractors and assemblies by the Production Department to ISO 9001 standards. Liaising with sub-contractors. Auditing new vendors. Assisting QA manager.
