My 20 year experience in fashion is unique as I have a rare creative-meets-commerce approach to how I work, giving me a full-circle understanding of the fashion industry. I thrive in team management and pride myself in being optimistic, communicative, ethical and bold in my work style, having developed a boundary-pushing entrepreneurial skill set that’s been showcased over the past ten years.I pioneered the first genderless luxury athleisure brand, Baja East, in 2013, navigating its many hurdles of growth through firstly defining and developing this new genre of fashion with luxury retailers, press and celebrity to then strategically growing our customer base and sales channels by expanding into the contemporary market as a response to the rise of social media and influencers. I’ve grown the brand’s original genderless offering of loose-luxe, go-anywhere, surf-to-street athleisure to a full collection known for plush knitwear, rich satins, reinterpreted animal prints and pop-culturally relevant graphic off-duty, continuing to translate its aspirational dream to commercial sales. I’ve further evolved our product offering to resort wear and home as an answer to athleisure’s saturation within the market as well as developed additional women’s focused and size inclusive product alongside our genderless core to capitalize on our growing female and plus size clientele. Additionally, I’ve positioned Baja East to collaborate with heritage brands like Eddie Bauer, Superga, Fila, Melissa, Hudson Jeans andNBC/Universal's Minions franchise to help expand the brand’s visibility into new markets as well as test new product categories for our own merchandising potential.

My home furnishings are inspired by indigenous textiles & the artisans who craft them, each piece sustainably reimagined in luxe cashmere, blending traditional & modern manufacturing techniques that pay tribute to those inspirations as well as support our planet.
