Engineering Department Head for ETS business unit. I continue to be respondible for product development for the FB1000/FB2000 Series Flow Computers and well as the FB3000 RTU as well as the maintenance of all legacy devices (FloBoss 107, ROC800 platform, ControlWave platform, S600+) and add the software products of TerminalManager, OpenEnterprise, and FieldTools. I add budget responsibility and skills growth for the department to allow us to produce world-class, secure, easy to use field devices, configuration software, and software solutions. The new product development group is responsible for the embedded development (hardware and software) of oil and gas flow computers to satisfy the wellhead, pipeline, and terminal markets. This role also includes cross BU coordination for common business objectives, IP coordination, and approvals coordination (both electrical safety and metrology) for both new products as well as established products. Key member responsible for agile transformation from traditional waterfall methodology. Working closely to guide JIRA configuration for world-wide team use (4 world-area locations) with Nexus and Scrum scaled framework.Recently started transitioning hardware development to a KanBan process using global team in three world area locations to maximize throughput and minimize work in progress.Member of the strategic leadership team for the business unit. Setting and achieving annual goals to meet/exceed business targets in strategic growth focus areas as well as key process improvements.
