Conducted continues ground surveillance with BETSS-C Elevated Sensors to provide 24 hour integral Force Protection. Initiated the re-calibration of multiple FPS Long Range Thermal Imagers with updated GPS Data for optimum targeting capability enabling operators to target grid location based off the intersection of FOV map data imagery from 2 or more Cameras/Sensors. This was the first time this was done with Long Range Thermal Imagers and made an impression on the command and systems FSR’s and enabled us to target grids in the absence of LRF. Advised the ADOC and BDOC Force Pro OIC and Command, in positioning of current and projected surveillance systems to enhance and exploit surveillance of the installation to its fullest capabilities.
