Represent the CEOs of financial services industry before policymakers in Washington, D.C. 15 years in the private sector doing direct lobbying before Congress and regulators, running advocacy campaigns, fundraising, budgeting, and grassroots mobilization. 5+ years of communications experience with all facets from spokesperson to social media. Ran all aspect of the Political Action Committee and separate Research Fund. Responsible for PAC fundraising, member recruitment, budgets, coordinating staff and outside consultants. During the financial crisis, I crafted messages, developed media response, and served as spokesman before local, national, and international media. Represented the financial services industry before policy makers on countless issues, including Dodd-Frank, class action reform, bankruptcy reform, GLB, retirement security, tax, accounting, and patent reform. Worked to form, manage, and direct coalitions with other trades and companies.
