Whether the story involves moving soda ash from the mines of Wyoming to ports around the world, or the way a pharmaceutical treatment has eased the affliction of a patient, Scott will identify and convey the emotion that most strongly engages the viewer.After spending 15 years in commercial film editing, where he honed his craft on national tv commercials for clients including Anheuser Busch, Gatorade and Wrigley Gum, Scott wrote, produced, directed and edited the award-winning feature documentary “Honeyboy and the History of the Blues.” This film preserves the experiences of United States "National Treasure" David "Honeyboy" Edwards; a man born into sharecropping, who realized his life would be better as an itinerant bluesman. "Honeyboy and the History of the Blues" won top awards at film festivals and a slot in the Scorsese/PBS series “The Blues." There's a copy in the Library of Congress, but you can more easily stream it on Amazon. 

Scott is especially proud of his interview technique in helping people to be comfortable in front of the camera; from "regular" people, to Fortune 500 execs, to celebs including Keith Richards, Jack White, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Joe Perry, Robert Cray, Lucinda Williams, the members of the band Cheap Trick, and the members of the band Franz Ferdinand.
