Worked as System Administrator and migrated from Novel to WindowsSystems Administrator of computer systems running Novell 4.11 running SFT III and two NT 4 Domains one in London and the other in New York as connected via a WAN. The domains consisted of 3 Exchange servers, IIS 4 Server, 2 SQL servers and 2 File & Print servers (consisting of Compaq Proliant and HP servers), approx. 50 PC’s running MS Office 97 under Windows NT4 and other peripherals including printers, modems.Responsible for supporting 12 Reuter’s dealers workstation and 11 Bloomeberg workstations. Responsible for full daily backups using Computer Associates Arcserve 6.61 backup software via Sony AIT2 devices.Responsible for supporting all remote access to the domains London and New York.

Contact management software, Office 97 (Older Office 4.3) and MS Exchange 5.5 (Older MS Mail).- Installation support and management of software together with repair and maintenance of computer hardware, and recovery of lost data from damaged media and equipment including memory, hard disks and motherboard upgrades.- In-depth knowledge of peripheral equipment such as Modems, including Multimedia and Videocapture products, switching devices, network.- CD mastering for issuing J P Kenny in-house software.
