Duties:o Account Management of insurance program for more than 24 NSW Local Government Councils throughout regional NSW Public Sector o Promote and educate on the Council specific Statewide Mutual Schemes (self-insurance pools) for the Property (including Business Interruption), Public and Products Liability, Professional Indemnity, Fidelity Guarantee/Crime, Casual/Regular Hirers and Swimming Pool Lessee Liability Schemes, Statutory Liability and Supplementary Legal Expenses (Business Practices Protection) and Councillors and Officers Liability (similar to Directors and Officers but tailored to Local Councils)

– Account Broker – Local Government Duties:Similar to above with the following duties in addition:-o Transferred from Liverpool to Dubbo in 1994 as Branch Manager to set up an office with a total of three staff, which included Local Government claims handling. o Secretary to ORANA and RIVESURE regional independent Insurance Pools with the following responsibilities:-– Create agenda for quarterly meetings– Risk Management Co-Ordinator- Claims reporting and analyst– Proportioning of premium to each pool member– Insurance advice to independent pools and other councils– Created the concept of “mock trials” using actual Liability claims and involving the legal team and expert witnesses that were involved in the court case with the first one held in Griffith NSW in 1995
