Following 10 years at Carlsberg UK Ltd I have recently moved to Kautex Unipart Ltd. Joint venture manufacturer of Fuel Systems to the Automotive Industry.Year 1 achieving Record 1yr Zero TRIR.

Recently appointed as the SHE Operations Manager for Carlsberg UK. Involved in Safety Health & Environment within Carlsberg for nearly 8 years with the last 3 years full time as Safety Health & Environment Manger for the Brewery.Year on Year reductions in accidents with the site awarded it's first ROSPA award in 2010 - Gold with Gold again in 2011 & 2012.Creating the Just Take 10 approach to Safety for the Brewery and seeing the concept rolled out Nationally.Working with the HSE, EA and Managing the sites ISO14001 & 18001 systems.Focusing on reducing accidents is more than a passion, working on safe systems off work and increasing hazard identification and control.

Joined the company directly after returning from Thailand. Developing both existing and new clients for the footwear testing lab. Extensive knowledge off footwear production allowed access to previously untapped accounts. Although only with Intertek for just under a year the sales experience was supportive off previous customer facing roles and Intertek is a fantastic company to work for.

Joining DM'S in 94 I started as a Welt Sewer at the Unit 7-10 Factory in Wollaston. Following a transfer to the ST Peters Way Factory in Kettering I won the Swayzland award whilst taking My City & Guilds exams in Footwear.A short secondment to Cobbs lane as a utility operator allowed me complete my production skills to encompass all operations from clicking to packing.Joining the Progress Chasing Dept came an abundance off further education including Institute off Supervisory Management, Certificate in Management Studies, Diploma in Management Studies. Progression into Customer Services, Planning and finally back into Production Management at Nene Park. Company reorganisation in 2002 saw one final opportunity with a company which many had a 'love affair'. Following a two month secondment to set up production in Khon Kaen Thailand and redundancy a chapter closed. The experience, training and opportunities that I was afforded as an employee of DM's still stands me in good stead 10 years later.
