I am currently the Terminal Manager at Fort Transfer Company located in Morton, IL. Fort Transfer is a Fleet of 160 Trucks and upwards of 220 Stainless Steel Bulk Liquid Tank Trailers. Our fleet of trucks is comprised of approximately 60 Company owned units and 100 Independent Contractors. We are very involved in the Ag Sector and we move a lot of herbicide throughout the year, with our peak season being from March thru July. Herbicide hauling is very much a niche market, and we pride ourselves in embracing the products/customers that have the highest complexities. In order to stabilize the seasonality of herbicide we also haul a wide range of general chemical freight throughout the calendar year. We utilize Brokers and 3PL's to leverage our idle capacity and supplement our outbound freight in order to maximize revenue per mile. We have recently added some Food Grade trailers into our fleet in an effort to continue to diversify our revenue streams. In addition to our trucking, we have 2.6 million gallons of indoor, temperature controlled bulk storage facility. With this we have inbound trucks, railcars and two full length indoor scales. As Terminal Manager I am responsible for the oversight of the entire Morton operation. I am tasked with ensuring equipment readiness and coordinating our maintenance team, ensuring each truck is being utilized and generating our revenue targets and working with our operations and billing/payroll teams to ensure the integrity of our data from order conception to order completion.I am also a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Professional Real Estate Investor in the State Illinois.
