As a canvassing recruiter who was thoroughly familiar with the successful enlistment process from applicant prospecting to preparation for recruit training, I successfully recruited 48 Marines over the course of a 3 year period. I worked alongside civilians in an environment external to the normal Marine Corps bases, station, and Fleet Marine Force environments. My successful functions included preliminary screening and administrative processing, scheduling physical examinations, completion of enlistment documents, and maintaining accurate records. I provided exceptional community support with Marine Corps publicity, informational materials and assisted in civic events.
