The project included amending the existing C of A (Sewage) through the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE), preparing the necessary documentation regarding the installation activities (filing the Notice of Project with the Ontario Ministry of Labour (MOL), the Health and Safety Plan, Environmental Management Plan, Design specifications, etc.), and coordinating internal and external parties for complete project implementation.

Conducted estimating, project management, and project coordination on numerous sites across southern Ontario. Myriad activities accomplished, including all aspects of day-to-day operations: - Client liaison and marketing activities: promoting our expertise and services, securing inclusion on bid listings and tenders, attending mandatory site visits, estimating and proposal preparation for environmental remediation projects.- Project coordination and management: interacting directly with the management team, clients and field personnel to ensure the continued success of our operations to the satisfaction of the collective parties. - Reporting to: collective parties, numerous contractors and sub-contractors, the MOE, assorted regulatory agencies, and numerous municipal government agencies.- Financial tracking: including staff, materials, waste, equipment billings, and AP/AR. With affected soils existing beneath 5 metres of overburden impacting weathered shale at depth, and the project encountering a 50% increase in the expected volume of impacted soils, the works were completed with only a 3-week overage on the schedule.

Project Manager on numerous Brownfield Sites across southern Ontario regarding both external clientelle and internal properties owned by Terrasan Corporation. The internal projects included the Lloyd Square, Lindsay, Welland, and the Brockport Drive Properties within the Terrasan portfolio. Activities included proposal preparations, project coordination, site supervision, liaison activities, analytical data tabulation and analyses, report preparation, and financial tracking for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Site-Specific Certificates of Approval (CofAs), Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring (OM&M) Reporting, and RSCs. Project management required correspondence with management, associates, the MOE, assorted regulatory agencies, numerous municipal government agencies, and contractors.Largest Project Managed and Executed during tenure at Terrasan:94 Brockport Drive - Terrasan Head Office:VOC-Impacted Soil and Groundwater In-Situ Remedial ProgramFor the purposes of completing a RAP and in consultation with the MOE, a groundwater and vapour phase extraction and treatment system, coupled with a potassium permanganate (KMnO4) injection system were installed at the head office of Terrasan. Over 1,000 MT of impacted soil were removed from the Site and treated ex-situ thus allowing for the installation of the groundwater extraction system, three KMnO4 injection galleries and the removal of the "source" contamination.

Project Manager, Volvo Trucks of North America – National Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure the environmental compliance of 150+ Volvo Dealerships across the country, consistent with the goals and objectives developed at the onset of the program in consultation with the client. Activities included the creation of a Canada-wide EMS Library, including formal province-specific Guidance Documents, Resource Manuals, and Training Materials incorporating federal and province-specific legislation through co-ordination with SEACOR provincial offices. The program included coordinating and conducting training classes in each province for select individuals from each dealership to provide “in-house” trainers at each facility, enabling full incorporation of the management plan requirements at all levels of their operations. Areas covered in the EMP include: - Hazard communication: Joint Health and Safety Committees, Employee Rights, WHMIS, control of hazardous energy, fire safety and evacuation planning, first aid, Pollution Prevention Planning and Environmental Emergency Planning;- Hazardous waste: Transport, use, storage, and disposal of solid and liquid waste streams, generator category, spill notification, and waste minimization;- Petroleum Products: Transport, storage and disposal of petroleum products and associated wastes;- Wastewater and Storm Water: Management of waste streams, oil/water separators, municipal requirements; and- Air Quality: Certificates of Approval, vehicle and parts refinishing, emissions controls, permit requirements, indoor air quality, and refrigerants handling, use, storage and disposal.Additional activities included proposal preparations, project coordination, management of field technicians, client liaison activities, analytical data tabulation and analyses, report preparation, and financial tracking for Phase II and Phase III ESAs and EMPs.

Project Coordinator, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) - Danforth Bus Garage Site: Activities included oversight and coordination of remedial activities including the removal of 14,000 tonnes of hydrocarbon impacted soil, the installation of a 400 by 20 foot shoring wall, and the fulfillment of soil and air monitoring requirements. The project included the installation of a pipe-and-media-drain groundwater collection and treatment system for the fulfillment of Site remedial objectives. Project coordination required correspondence with the MOE, numerous municipal government agencies, the TTC and various contractors.Underground Storage Tank Removals and Confirmatory Sampling:- TTC Former Eglinton Bus Garage, Toronto, Ontario.- TTC Danforth Bus Garage, Toronto, OntarioProject Coordinator, G&H Landfill Site: Activities included operation and maintenance contract management for an 83 acre landfill cap, 3,000 foot soil bentonite slurry wall, groundwater/leachate collection and treatment system, and wetlands mitigation. Activities included quarterly and annual reporting on the status of the O&M Plan including regular influent/effluent, groundwater, and surface water sampling, Site-wide groundwater elevations, and general Site characteristics as implicated by a court ordered Consent Decree. Project coordination required correspondence with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, and numerous municipal government agencies.
