With affected soils existing beneath 5 metres of overburden impacting weathered shale at depth, and the project encountering a 50% increase in the expected volume of impacted soils, the works were completed with only a 3-week overage on the schedule.

Activities included proposal preparations, project coordination, site supervision, liaison activities, analytical data tabulation and analyses, report preparation, and financial tracking for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Site-Specific Certificates of Approval (CofAs), Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring (OM&M) Reporting, and RSCs. Project management required correspondence with management, associates, the MOE, assorted regulatory agencies, numerous municipal government agencies, and contractors.Largest Project Managed and Executed during tenure at Terrasan:94 Brockport Drive - Terrasan Head Office:VOC-Impacted Soil and Groundwater In-Situ Remedial ProgramFor the purposes of completing a RAP and in consultation with the MOE, a groundwater and vapour phase extraction and treatment system, coupled with a potassium permanganate (KMnO4) injection system were installed at the head office of Terrasan. Over 1,000 MT of impacted soil were removed from the Site and treated ex-situ thus allowing for the installation of the groundwater extraction system, three KMnO4 injection galleries and the removal of the "source" contamination.
