Experienced leader with a passion for delivering positive results. Has over 30 years of freight transportation experience, with proven expertise in transportation network optimization and planning. Began his career as a part-time dock worker in college and entered the Roadway management training program as an employee of their subsidiary Spartan Express. Since that time, he gained extensive experience in operations and sales management while holding various senior leadership positions in both corporate and field operations. He was named Chief Network Officer for YELLOW Corporation in 2018, where he was responsible for the alignment and coordination of all line haul network operations across four operating subsidiaries. His experience working with large scale change management projects involving the full integration of operational networks has been well documented throughout his career. He has been involved with multiple expansion and growth projects that include both M&A and organic expansion while directing the full integration of operations to provide a superior service product on a single platform. Ware served as President of Holland Inc, from 2012 to 2019. A leading regional LTL transportation provider recognized for delivering the most next-day LTL transportation services within its geographical footprint, while annually recording one of the lowest claims ratios in the industry. Holland became the 10th largest LTL service provider in the U.S. under his leadership. He has experience working with a nine-member Board of Directors for Yellow Corporation while delivering strategic business plans that support the organizations performance, growth and profitability. Prior to becoming President of Holland in 2012, he was Vice President of Operations. During this time, he implemented several major operational initiatives focused on performance improvement and service enhancements, while re-engineering the freight-flow network. He delivered consistent performance improvements while leading the business to growth opportunities in revenue, operating income, EBITDA and free cash flow. He maintains a commitment to process improvement and optimization to effectively reduce costs and increase profitability while developing a workplace environment focused on a high level of safety, customer satisfaction and operational performance. Ware obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has been an active member of the American Trucking Association since 2008 and served on variety of committees.
