As senior rig verifier for well control equipment, I am responsible for travelling to bp's rigs to conduct operational verification and conformance to both industry, regulatory and bp requirements. Responsible for identifying any gaps in requirements and safety standards with the goal of reducing risk to bp's operation. Involves international travel to all of bp's drilling operation.

I worked in the BOP Reliability Team's Engineering to successfully reduce Non-Productive Time (NPT) on subsea BOP stacks by 63% over a 4-year period. This was done by working directly with both Contractors and OEMs through failure investigations and continuous improvement initiatives that resulted in both product and process improvements. I shared the learnings from these improvements with industry through participation in multiple collaborative projects such as the Deepwater Operator Group (DEWOG) and the Rapid S-53 failure database.Assisted with rig intakes and operational verification of conformance to API 53 and BP's internal requirements. Managed system upgrade projects to increase shearing capacity and operational reliability.As a subject matter expert on accumulators, I perform the accumulator precharge calculations for our fleet and prepare all necessary documentation to meet federal regulatory requirements for permitting. As lead of the API 16D accumulator task force I derived new pre-charge calculations adopted in the 3rd edition of API 16d. I am also the current API 16D secretary.

As application team lead in the BOP controls group, I was responsible for leading a team in the design of new deadman/autoshear systems, rigid conduit manifolds, ROV interfaces, control valves, regulators and other subsea controls system and components. This included producing engineering design documents, assembly instructions, testing procedures and installation and operation manuals. I was heavily involved in the entire manufacturing process from assembly to testing, often working alongside technicians to ensure delivery of critical safety systems. Proficient with Solidworks, Autocad, Cosmos, and product lifecycle management systems.

Assisted in the development and implementation of comprehensive test schedules for new drill pipe and casing premium threaded connections. Optimized nozzle configurations on rotary bits using CFD.Assist in the design of a vibration monitoring down hole tool including programming and testing. Utilized programs such as Solidworks, Cosmos, Abaqus, ProE and Matlab.
