Acted as the Sarbanes-Oxley assessor for the Timekeeping Systems group. Led the team that accomplished the following goals and objectives: • Using Java/J2EE created a non-specific system to synchronize information between the PeopleSoft ERP system and the company’s hourly timekeeping system, thereby increasing uptime from 60-percent to 99-percent. • Designed and developed an application to hold developers information and skill sets using Ruby on Rails. The application allowed developers to look for help by querying skill sets. • Served as Technical Lead for the salaried timekeeping system, eSTRS, a web application (Java/J2EE, Struts, Ant and misc. web technologies running on Apache and WebSphere) that was used to replace an existing client server application, and was rolled out to 30,000 employees, cutting maintenance costs by over 50-percent. • Maintained and added new functionality to an hourly employee information web application (Java/J2EE, Struts, Ant and misc. web technologies utilizing Apache and WebSphere) on a Linux server. Supporting over 100,000 users, the system averaged over 7000 hits per day. -

Key accomplishments included: • Created classes (Java/J2EE and JCE) to interface with LDAP and PeopleSoft ERP. The solution replaced the standard security with the new classes that were called from PeopleSoft ERP. These new classes greatly increased the strength of security. • Designed and developed multiple web services (XML-RPC) to interface with the company portal. • Created a secure on-line system (Java/J2EE and misc. web technologies) that allowed employees to view their own pay stub. • Developed an on-line job application (PeopleTools) used by external applicants for DaimlerChrysler European operations, allowing applicant information to be saved to the PeopleSoft ERP system. • Designed and developed a PeopleSoft manager delegation module (Java/J2EE and misc. web technologies) that allowed supervisors to delegate authority to others in the event of vacations or emergencies. -
