I am licensed architect who specializes in managing teams through design and construction projects ranging from small tenant interiors, to multi-million dollar, multi-phased expansions on active campuses. With 15+ years of related experience I am involved in all phases of a project, from concept design through occupancy, and pride myself on leading collaborative teams that offer creative solutions to client needs, while respecting their values and budget. Past project types include civic, workplace, aviation, academic, and municipal facilities.I believe that collaboration is learning and have served as a college instructor, as a guest lecturer with the University of Colorado’s Architecture and Urban Design graduate programs, am graduate of the Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Program, and led a global research project to better understand the future of academic libraries.I’m an avid skier and fly fisherman and enjoy both with my wife, son, and faithful black lab Olive Oyl. As a family we all are active volunteers with Project Healing Waters, an organization dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing.
