The National Long Haul Network Operations group's main responsibility is to safeguard and maintain network integrity for Bell-360 Networks assets along Canadian rail corridors and city ring network routes. Led major civil restoration/construction and fibre splicing projects inside railway corridors and Toronto city ring network routes. From this, I am extremely well versed at navigating through bureaucracy of Metrolinx, Canadian National and Canadian Pacific work permit approval processes and documentation.Managed civil construction labourers and fibre splicers ensuring project work remains on scope, within approved budget and under strict compliance to railway safety protocols. Initiate and control Change Management activities (i.e., cutovers/maintenance outages) with circuit stakeholders and Network Operations Centers. Respond to third party notices to monitor excavation activities in order to prevent network damages.On a network issue, outage alarm or even a train derailment, I was often first on scene. This includes Bell Aliant FTTH, Bell/Expertech Network Installation FTTH (Project Chronos), and ENI Overflow projects.I came on board to manage the 519 & 905 Line Construction crews and moved over to Fibre Optics Quality Assurance and Safety Advisor for all Ontario Operations.
