About Scott Williams

TEAMWORK! And a very big thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Scott Williams and I am one of the biggest proponents of teamwork you will ever meet. I’ve been in the telecommunications industry over twenty years (and a retired Navy guy as well!). Along my career path, I have taken advantage of many opportunities; however, none of these experiences would have been successful without a teamwork environment. I'd love to help you too!I am a Fibre Optics junkie. I’ve sought out and attended advanced optical technologies training throughout Canada, United States and United Kingdom. All of these broadened my skills in my daily work and resulted in having an extensive global network of cool people. Here’s my list of industry certifications that contributed to my growth:► MASTER FIBRE OPTICS TECHNICIAN (MFOT) - TC-MFOT-1684► CERTIFIED FIBRE CHARACTERIZATION ENGINEER (CFCE) - CFCE0141US► CERTIFIED OPTICAL NETWORK ENGINEER (CONE) - CONE123UK► CERTIFIED FIBRE OPTICS TECHNICIAN (CFOT) - FOA-1420590► CERTIFIED FIBRE TO THE 'X' TECHNICIAN (CFxT) - FOA-1420590► CERTIFIED FIBRE OUTSIDE PLANT SPECIALIST (CFOS/O) - FOA-1420590I made significant contributions to Bell Canada’s FTTH construction projects. This includes ample time in the field coaching technicians with various backgrounds with all the ins and outs from working in the Bell network. Give me a set of network plans and I can sniff out provisioning discrepancies in an instant. When called upon, I’ve quarterbacked the resolution of complex issues between parties always resulting in on-time job completion. These days, I am bringing Rogers Fiber to rural communities as a Construction Field Manager.
