The Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation is a Newcastle based not-for-profit organisation which raises much needed funds to provide information and practical support to women and men who have been diagnosed with breast cancer in the Hunter and their families.As a volunteer member of the Board of Management during a rapid period of growth, Scott actively contributed to the establishment of a strategic outlook for the organisation while also undertaking a “hands-on” role with fundraising and support. This included ensuring compliance with regulations governing the running of charities and with the Objects of the Constitution of the Foundation and stakeholder management across a broad spectrum of interested parties.
