Scott Young began his career while working towards a degree in Electronics Engineering. While pursuing a thorough understanding around the inner workings of high-end or specialized computing, he discovered a deeper passion for programming and software development.During his tenure at AT&T, Scott performed duties spanning across systems & database administration, as well as developing various software applications, such as middleware, data management, and front-end UIs to be utilized within the domain of Telco-network management.After leaving AT&T to embark on a consulting career with EMC, Scott continued to learn and perfect new skills within the monitoring & visibility space for IT Operations. Transferring to VMware after the Dell Technologies acquisition of EMC, he went on to become a SME for their flagship vRealize Suite, and specifically for the Automation component (now Aria Automation).During his career, Scott has continued to expand both his understanding and command of other areas within IT, such as IoT, Edge, & Cloud computing. Many of his ever increasing interests and hobbies include emerging & evolving technologies such as ML/AI and the intersection between art. design, & music.
