About Scott Beardsley

As Managing Partner and Head of Venture Investments at Novo Holdings, I oversee one of the largest and most active international life science portfolios. With a track record of nearly 25 years investing in novel therapies, the portfolio has an evergreen structure which enables our team to take a long-term view to advance science and medicine for the benefit of society. I am also a member of the Novo Holdings Life Sciences Operating Committee. From 2009-2012, I was a Senior Partner of Novo Holdings’ Growth Equity team in Denmark. Prior to joining Novo Holdings A/S, I was a Managing Director at JPMorgan and headed the firm’s West Coast Life Sciences practice. Before my role at JPMorgan, I led Piper Jaffray’s U.S. biopharmaceuticals investment banking practice and was a member of the Health Care Group at Montgomery Securities.I have an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelors of Science degree from Colorado State University.
