My role at HealthPartners includes the following: - Inventory management: as experts in the cradle-to-grave support of medical equipment and systems, our department maintains a 45,000+ device inventory which tracks and records service history, recalls, capital costs and life cycle information. - Project management: I have led and participated in dozens of department renovations and remodels; new inpatient, specialty and clinic builds; technology upgrades and software integrations. - Contract management - our department initiates, analyzes, advises and executes new and renewal service contracts for all medical equipment and systems in our organization. - Standards Administration - it is my responsibility to study and interpret codes, standards, laws and recommendations of OEMs, accrediting agencies (CMMS, JC, CAP, CARF), and authorities (FDA). I publish and enforce policies and procedures that satisfy these standards. - Operational leadership - I manage a group of technicians that perform analysis, selection, acquisition, support, repair and disposition of medical equipment and systems

Maintain medical equipment in emergency, sleep lab, EEG, physical therapy and rehab, inpatient and specialty departments.

Process surgical instrumentation; provide case carts and JIT instruments and supplies to operating rooms.
