I established banking relationships, the credit card gateway and payment processor services, and credit card merchant agreements to allow for a seamless online customer ordering and payments. I set up the internal controls, processes, and procedures to insure the continuing growth and success of the business. I insured compliance with ED&F Man minimum control standards, company requirements, transfer pricing policies, and accounting guidelines. I monitored and approved counterparty risk management limits, hedging, and customer financing arrangements. I prepared fair value valuations of physical inventory and forward contracts in accordance with IFRS and external audit guidelines.At Volcafe, I was head of finance for the North and Central America Region, where I was the senior finance leader responsible for overseeing a $400 million in revenue Region covering the financial operations of the coffee businesses in North and Central America.
