Developed the global Integrated Facility Management (IFM) vision, strategy and execution plan to consolidate the IFM buy for GE’s ~1300 offices occupying ~34M sq. ft. globally. Annual estimated spend >$500M per year. Expected savings ~15-20%. HIGHLIGHLIGHTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• Led global team of ~25 domain experts and consultants in the development of a comprehensive global bid package including Annexes, Statement of Requirements, bid evaluation criteria and other supporting bid documentation.• Designed new Target Operating Model (TOM) for the global facility operation and related functional support. Led the development and planning sessions to access operational readiness and design a retained organization model focused on strategy, risk, client relationships and supplier governance to enable the transformation from an out-tasked FM delivery model to a performance-based IFM model. • Oversaw the design and development of a resource optimization planning tool enabling planning for regional diversity.

Led organization of 15 direct reports and ~325 employees responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of GE’s global real estate portfolio consisting of >3600 locations with an annual lease spend of ~$2.2B; global project delivery of >$500M per year in capital projects and facility operations for >325 corporate pooled offices globally. HIGHLIGHTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• Centralized GE’s real estate activities in 2003 and created a global “best in class” team that executed 800-1100 transactions per year and delivered ~$1B in savings through portfolio consolidation, space optimization and disposition. • Led annual property organization staffing and appraisal review process. Reviewed organizational structure including levels and span, employee training & development, diversity metrics, employee survey results/plans and individual appraisals for each direct report and their operation. Identified key cross functional and global opportunities for top talent to further develop leadership and operating skills in a variety of promotional and bubble assignments. • Established global Policy Compliance Review Board to implement robust controls and review processes to support all property functions. Worked closely with Audit, Legal and the Corporate compliance organizations to ensure alignment with company initiatives.• Reorganized global organization in 4Q2010 to align with newly established global growth regions. Regional roles created to consolidate local decision making and improved transaction to delivery cycle time. Established functional CoE’s for Real Estate, Project Services, Properties, and EHS/SCM to support regional needs, ensure global standards were developed and implemented, and performance metrics established to drive functional and regional accountability. Cycle time reduced by ~18%.

Led team of 56 professionals responsible for facility management, engineering, indirect sourcing, telecommunications and support services at GE’s global headquarter facilities and leadership development centers. HIGHLIGHTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• Led $200M Master Plan Execution for capital projects at the corporate headquarter and leadership development campuses.• Reduced annual facility operating cost by >11% through collaboration with Vice Chairman on company “bullet train.”• Consolidated operations and simplified operating model.
