NSCG provides professional consulting services regarding compliance of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), which is a partnership between the federal government and private industry to protect national security interests. Duties involve all facets of Industrial Security to include the daily management of all personnel security clearance files, initiating new investigations and reinvestigations as needed, interfacing with national databases such as JPAS, ISFD, DCII and DISS. COMSEC custodian which requires close work with the NSA for key/rekey and inventory purposes. Designated Information System Security Manager (ISSM) ensuring restricted domain network is NISPOM Chapter 8 compliant and supervise the Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Ensure compliance with the NISPOM, JFAN 6/1, 6/3 and 6/9. Operations security requires review of all DD254 (contracts) for OPSEC and TEMPEST requirements and implement those that are required. Physical security officer which requires the continuous evaluation, implementation, and assessment of all access control measures not only for the main facility but also for the restricted area. Manage the facilities integrated alarm/access control system, personnel badges according to authorized access levels and clearance levels. Interface with the Defense Security Services on all facility and personnel reporting requirements. Facilitate and manage all incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and all in-house classified meetings. Serve as the central document control which requires physical maintenance of the media in approved storage devices and development and maintenance of the central database. Conduct initial and refresher training of all company employees. Operations Specialist for the 409th Base Support Battalion (BSB) Emergency Operation Center (EOC). Assist the S-3 Operations Officer to accomplish wartime, emergency and contingency peacetime missions and Force Protection planning and operations for the BSB. Initiate, analyze, adapt, modify, and expand emergency Operations Orders (OPORDs) issued by higher headquarters. Coordinate wartime emergency planning policies and evaluate subordinate unit operations programs. Review, analyze and evaluate force structures identified to perform the BSBs Force Protection mission. Direct the execution of contingency and wartime operations plans for the BSB to include, identifying, compiling, consolidating, checking, verifying, and organizing a variety of detailed planning data relating to different areas of operations. Develop and enforce SOPs outlining the operations of the BSBs EOC. Prepare and send daily Force Protection Updates, and weekly Random Anti-Terrorism Measure (RAMP) schedules to higher headquarters Assist the 100 ASG S-2 in ensuring the SIPRNET maintains continuous connectivity. Assist the BSB S-2 in providing personnel, operations and information security to the community and tenant units. Also assist with installation access control and clearances for contractors and local nationals. Prepare and record daily journals and send Command Interest Reports (CIRs) to higher and adjacent headquarters. Work experience in the Intelligence/Security/Force Protection arena. Trained in Risk Assessment/Management to include threat and vulnerability assessments and policies governing the security of classified information.

Relevant experience to the security field includes Battalion Intelligence Officer/NCOIC for a600+ personnel unit in Europe. These duties included oversight of all Communications Security(COMSEC). Issuance and inventory of all COMSEC equipment and codes throughout theBattalion. Personnel security for approximately 75% of all assigned personnel in the Battalion.Initiating, tracking, and maintaining all personnel security investigations and records. Classifieddocument custodian responsibilities included inventory, maintenance, issuance and recovery ofall classified documents and equipment.
