Oversaw programs in education, cultural enrichment and economic development; grew a free music school from 30 to more than 200 students, responsible for curriculum, staffing, family relations and facilities. Started award-winning conferences, festivals and a food business incubator. Managed a budget of $3.5 million and a diverse team.

Taught senior seminar “Introduction to Music Business” at New Orleans’ performing arts high school, with financial, contractual and other industry-specific practices that students used to launch their performing, recording and composing careers.

As a consultant to the State of Louisiana for music business development, developed and implemented a large-scale marketing campaign for Louisiana music at the South By Southwest Music and Media Conference in Austin, Texas. Produced major post-Katrina Thanksgiving festival.

Created and directed integrated marketing campaigns for some of New Orleans’ most acclaimed young artists in a variety of musical genres. Oversaw relations and contracts with record labels, attorneys, publicists, media, web designers, radio and concert promoters, accountants and more.
