Led design, user testing, and development of the Riser Folio, a highly original iPad case that offers 7 unique viewing modes including an innovative "Theater Mode" that elevates the device to eye-level. Riser Folio became the first Body Glove tablet product to gain placement at Verizon Wireless retail stores.Member, and eventual product development lead, of team tasked with creating a new brand of innovative, comfortable, and home-focused iPad accessories. Worked closely with industrial designers and mechanical engineers on the development of a new 3M medical device.Helped to redesign a SC Johnson consumer bathroom product to reduce costs and improve function and manufacturability.

I took part in the design process, developed my CAD skills, and gained a better understanding of manufacturing processes. I designed several sheet metal parts and helped in designing injection molded, vacuum formed, and roto-molded parts. In addition, I set up and conducted tests on new designs, analyzed data, submitted reports and gave presentations on my findings. I worked closely with software and electronic hardware personnel to set up and conduct the tests.
