As a Realtor my job is to establish a good working relationship with a sellers and buyers in order to help them achieve their goals. I find the relationship established at the beginning is the most valuable aspect of the transaction. It's incumbent on me to really listen to what people are trying to say, both verbally and non-verbally. By building relationships, I am able to really be of service. As a seller's agent my job is to evaluate their home in order to assess it's positive and negative characteristics, make suggestions for improvements and then market that home to the widest pool of buyers to obtain the most money for the seller in the least amount of time. I use a wide variety of media to accomplish that, including social networking sites, standard print and websites devoted to real estate. I find it's important to illustrate to buyers the benefits a home has rather than just it's physical features. I think it's important to appeal to a buyer's emotions rather than just their pocketbook. Once a buyer is found, I negotiate the terms and conditions of the sales contract with sellers and the buyer's agent to obtain the best price and terms for the seller. I then follow thru with all necessary inspections, appraisals, title companies and lenders to complete the sale of the home.As a buyer's agent my job is to show buyers homes that meet their criteria. I help them to evaluate each home they see to decide if it meets their needs. Once a home is found I negotiate the sales contract with the seller's agent to obtain best price and terms for the buyer. I then make referrals to lenders, inspectors, title companies to complete the purchase.
