Scott Massie has been the majority stockholder of Geiger Brothers since 1991. During his tenure, Geiger Brothers has evolved from a single office Ohio-based mechanical contractor into a broader based construction and engineering firm that performs an array of civil-structural-architectural (CSA) projects in addition to their core plumbing, HVAC and process piping services in Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee as well. Geiger Brothers has corporate offices in Jackson, Ohio and satellite offices in Oak Ridge, TN and Columbus, OH.Scott’s experience in contracting methods is extensive and includes: Construction Management, Construction Management at Risk, Design-Assist, Design-Build, Design-Build Lease-Back, Design-Bid-Build Single Prime, and Design-Bid-Build Multiple Primes. Project types include heavy piping and mechanical installations; commercial, institutional, industrial, health-care, and religious buildings, historical preservation work and renovations; and treatment plant facilities. Client types include all Federal and State public agencies as well as Fortune 500 private companies. He leads the firm's work acquisition efforts in all phases of estimating, submission of proposals, and business development. Scott is affiliated with and has participated at a local and national level with AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction), Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), and National Certified Pipe Welders Bureau (NCPWB).
