My main role at Projection Artworks is the development of our new cloud based projection mapping system called DisplayMapper. The actual work is varied and challenging, from sales and project management through design and development of both software and hardware solutions. Alongside this role I look after our IT systems in the office, usually within the creative department and with overall responsibility for the custom built render farm and associated systems. When the company workload requires I assist the production team with events using my experience in events, visual technology and building services to ensure shows run smoothly. I spent 3 months with Modus Workspace helping to secure a number of technical projects in the financial services sector. Key Points:• Developed engineering and services on £2.5m worth of office fit-out projects from pitch to construction detail.• Liaised with clients and managed professional teams (located worldwide), designers and sub-contractors through the design stage.• Support internal commercial teams with specific advice on pricing, best practices and other queries to ensure maximum profit against best solution.• Developed internal plan to educate non-engineers on requirements and design to ensure accurate detailing from the start of each project. Knock-on effect to reduce risk, workload and overheads, increasing efficiency and margins on all projects.

The Trampery is a co-working space in East London. Its style, community and facilities are leading the way in a new generation of spaces for start-ups and existing businesses. Key Points:• Selected and managed professional teams to develop RIBA Stage C Proposals for a number of new sites and spaces. Projects ranged from £150k to £4m and included both public and private sector partners.• Carried out business research to develop accurate models for investors and partners.• Implemented new Accountancy software and legal agreements with tenants to increase efficiency of the business and ensure risks were fairly shared between all parties.

Manage all aspects of Technical Services from sales through to final commissioning on fit-out projects in London and beyond. Construct outline specifications based on client, design and building requirements for Electrical, Mechanical, IT and AV subcontractors.Develop new ideas and technologies within the fit-out industry.

At Pacific Interiors I was responsible for the technical aspect of projects from design through to commissioning and client training. One highlight was co-ordinating a 120,000sqft D&B fit-out including a large Data Centre of 60 cabinets, new switchgear, UPS and generators. As engineering manager I oversee and co-ordinate all aspects of technical services within Pacific Interiors. I also provided IT help internally alongside developing new efficient workflow processes.
