I graduated Fall 2022 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from The University of Maryland School of Music, College Park. Currently, I teach Early Childhood Music classes and Voice/Piano lessons at the International School of Music in Potomac, Maryland and perform professionally in the DMV area. I have also worked at Naptown Sings & Plays in Annapolis, Maryland as a Music Teacher and Voice Instructor.Throughout my time at The University of Maryland School of Music, I sang as the tenor soloist in Purcell’s Welcome to All the Pleasures with the University Chorale. Other concert highlights include performing as the tenor soloist in both Es reißet euch ein schrecklich Ende, BWV 90 and Du Friedefürst, Herr Jesu Christ, BWV 116 in UMD’s Bach Cantata Series, and as a soloist in Handel’s piece Sing Unto God with the UMD Chamber Singers. Recently, I sang as the tenor soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Frederick Children’s Chorus. Aside from being a soloist, I was the Music Director of DaCadence A Cappella, one of UMD’s many A Cappella groups on campus. During my time with DaCadence I arranged music, led rehearsals, and was a part of the executive board. In addition to this I competed in the 2019 ICCAs with DaCadence and went on to the Wildcard round of the competition. After graduating from the group I workshopped and aided DaCadence in their journey to the ICCA 2023 & 2024 Finals.On stage I made my professional debut singing the role of Monostatos in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with Loudoun Lyric Opera Company. I have portrayed the lead tenor roles in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Sorcerer and H.M.S. Pinafore with the Victorian Lyric Opera Company. Because of my performances in H.M.S. Pinafore, I was honored with a nomination for Best Performer In A Musical (Non-Professional) in the BroadwayWorld Washington, DC Awards. Other past roles that I have enjoyed are Gomez Addams in The Addams Family, Brack Weaver in Down in the Valley, and Vincent Jones in Street Scene.This summer I will be going to Weimar, Germany to be a part of the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar's production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte to sing the role of Tamino. I will then be heading to Bloomington, Indiana to pursue a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music.
